Ever since I was aware that there was a Patrick Swayze in the world I have had a crush on him. He was my favorite dish of ice cream hands down. What I liked about him - other than having the same beautiful wife Lisa for 34 years, unheard of in his circle of friends - was that he was a pretty private person. He did good things for those around him, for the environment, and he did it without need for recognition. He didn't ever have any children but he was so gifted as a dancer, and an actor - and remember when he sang the last song in 'Dirty Dancin'

during the credits? Ya - that was him. Yum. So - today I lost my fantasy man, I know - wierd - I was once a little girl with a crush on a movie star... I will love watching his movies over and over. Thanks for passing into the next life with such dignity and grace - not with a needle in your arm, or a rope around your neck, or a stash of alcohol next to your bed. You went out peacefully, and heaven is a beautiful place today. Well done. You'll always be my favorite Ghost... gotta go cancel my pottery class now I guess. Oh, and my dirty dancin' classes... they just don't make 'em like this anymore.

I really am sad. Can I tell you what Dirty Dancing did for my life?
I know I feel sad too. And he was so young.
This was a hard day for our family, it was a little to close for comfort!! He was an amazing person and such a fighter!! He will be missed!
Um... I don't know who this guy is... ... ... what show was he in?
