Spontanious thoughts for the Serventinth day of May

I have a hard time - wasting time.  So when it was time to celebrate Ashley's birthday I read through her facebook posts and decided that the best gift to give her was time and service.  She loves to do her own yard work, but her tummy decided that it didn't want that much stress going on in the midsection.  So these fine amazing siblings (Matt - our WA kid was here for a visit) spend the day mowing and edging and digging and planting gardens and laughing at the grand kids trying to help.  I looked at this scene and I felt such a overwhelming love for them - and realized for the millionth time that - they get it... they get the joy and fulfillment of service and love.  I look at this picture of them covered in mud and then I see those smiles, and I know I heard my Heavenly Father say... no, YOU get it.  Being their mom - is the greatest thing I'll ever have the honor of doing.  Proud of their hearts, of their spirits, and of their rotten dirty mouths while they do yard work for a sister that they love.

Thought of the day:
I will certainly still mother you,
even though you said that
you've all had sex..
(and that's about how this day went)

Love Love Love
